Dear authors, reviewers, readers, and collaborators of CERES Journal,
It is with great pleasure that we announce important changes aimed at strengthening our editorial quality and enhancing the experience of our readers and authors for the year 2025. As part of our ongoing commitment to scientific excellence and innovation, we would like to share the following updates:
1. New Article Template
Starting in 2025, CERES Journal will adopt a new template for submitted manuscripts. This change aims to offer a more modern, intuitive, and efficient layout, improving the readability and navigation of the content. The new template will also follow best practices in scientific publishing, ensuring greater visibility and impact for published research.
Authors will be required to adapt their manuscripts to this new format, which will be available in the Template for Authors section on our website. We believe this update will enhance both the quality and accessibility of the scientific publications in CERES.
2. New Editorial Board
We are pleased to announce that the new Editor-in-Chief of CERES Journal, beginning in 2025, will be Prof. Dr. Carlos Fernando Collares. Dr. Collares is a renowned expert in innovative assessment methods and educational strategies, with extensive experience in scientific publishing and research supervision. His leadership will be key to strengthening the journal and ensuring a more rigorous and high-quality editorial process.
Professor Dr. Talita Valentino, who played a fundamental role in developing the journal and establishing it as one of the leading scientific publications in the field as its first Editor-in-Chief, will continue on the Editorial Board, alongside Professor Dr. Tamara Veiga, both serving as Associate Editors.
3. Looking Ahead
With these changes, our journal is entering a new cycle of growth, innovation, and excellence. We are confident that these updates will enhance the quality and visibility of CERES Journal, expanding its contribution to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in the editorial process, and especially to our readers and authors, whose trust and collaboration are essential to our continued success.
Sincerely,
Editorial Team
